Simon vs Carlos Berlocq

I don’t know why Simon have so high odds here in his favour but I’ll will take it with both hands. The franchman is not so bad player on claycourt and real, the odds should be lower. He is one of those guys who have games for every surface, good serve and is very calm during the long points and that’s what one player need for claycourt match, the passion. He is 3rd favourite to win the title here after Ferrer and Almagro. In the first round, he pass easy against Machado, win in straight sets. If Simon present simular or better tennis tonight, this event will pass also in straight sets. Berlocq is playing at home, this guy will have all the support from the fans. He have one SF and one final in this claycourt season but watching in that two games, we can see that Berlocq have problems against better ranked players not depending by the surface. Even he love to play on clay, this is his favourite part from the season and here we can expect his best tennis, I think that the problems over better ranked players will continue. Simple, Simon is better player from Berlocq in every segment. This will be their 4th clahs, Simon is leading by 3-0, two wins are on claycourt, the last one in Estoril in straight sets with 6:2/6:1. Expect Simon’s mentality to be on top level and to play without any pressure here even all the fans will be with home player.
