Chelsea vs Sunderland

In the 21st round of English Premier League, Chelsea host Sunderland in a match that I think to be one of the most balanced in this round. Both teams won to nil in FA Cup on Sunday.

 

Bookies see Chelsea as favourite but with the inconsistency in their squad I can never bid on a clear win for them. In 10 league home games this season, they have only managed to keep a cleansheet only against Wolves. Their defence is still vulnerable and with a Sunderland side that finally found the right track , I doubt they won't concede again.

 

As I said, Sunderland finally found the right track and now has 4 wins and one draw in their last 5 games, including a win against Manchester City at home. Sunderland can get at least a goal this evening but I also see them not keeping a cleansheet against Chelsea attaking power which will miss Drogba.

 

Furthermore, 6 of the last 7 games between these two teams finished with both teams scoring and with a minimum of 3 goals.
