Stuttgart vs Augsburg

Stuttgart enters this match in a relatively good mood as they did many positive things in last two months in comparation with the beginning of the season that was one of the worst beginning in the recent years. In last nine matches they have 5-2-2 which led them to current 8th position at the table and they are now very near to European cup positions. However, they will still need to improve their game and results as from such a individually good team it is expected to be in top 5 Bundesliga teams. Recent good displays, especially at home, give them many reasons to be positive in front of this match as they drew 1-1 against Dortmund and won over Frankfurt 3-0 and Hoffenheim 2-0 in last three home games. Hosts will be without central defender Maza who is suspended.

 

Augsburg, on the other side, simply looks like Bundesliga 2 team and it is now sure that they will have a lot of problems surviving in German top league. They are simply one class below many teams in this league and are currently on the bottom of the table with only eight points. Furthermore, they are by far the team with worst offensive lineup as they scored only nine goals till now. Guests will be severely weakened here as their captain and most reliable centre back Uwe Mohrle is injured, Axel Bellinghausen (left midfielder) has knee problems, Dawda Bah offensive playmaker in also injured, just like two strikers Torsten Oehrl and Stephan Hain. This should be just too much, not only guests are playing very poor, not only they lack offensive ideas, not only they are not in a good form, but they also miss a lot of players.
