St. Pauli vs Duisburg

Pauli made disastours season last year in 1st Bundesliga, and was relegted as expected. They changed the coach and took some new faces and it seems that with this offensive minded football and with this squad, they are capable to fight for promotion immediately. Pauli made great start with 10 points from 4 matche so far, winnig over Inglistadt 2:0 on neutral pitch, Aachen 3:1 at home, and against strong Bochum with 1:2 away from home in the last round. Their only draw is against another relegted and promotion candidate - Eintracht Frankfurt away from home 1:1.

 

Duisburg played Cup final last season, but it seems that they are far away from that form and performance. They started quite shaky the season with 3:2 loss away from home against Karlsruher and 1:2 loss at home from Cottbus. Duisburg managed to win their cup game with 0:2 against poor Babelsberg, but then couldnt managed to score in their next 2 matches, making 2 goaless draws with Frankfurt on the road and against Hansa at home. New signing Djemal Berberovic from Litex is out due to injury, and Jula will also miss the game with same reason. Duisburg took Domovchyski from Hertha, but I cant see him create big troubles to Pauli defence, if he is starter ofc.

 

Pauli is playing comfortable against Duisburg as they got 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 5 meetings with them.
