Derby, in contrast, have seven points in the same period and have conceded on average two goals per match!
Watford have actually won their last six matches - including games against league leaders QPR and high flying Cardiff. At home they have won their last three matches by three goals every time! They are in outstanding form and I expect that to continue against Derby.
Derby have had a fairly poor season so far, they are in the bottom half of the league and last week were knocked out of the FA Cup by Non-league opposition.
In terms of the line-ups, Derby have a fairly full squad to choose from although they may have an unsettled Captain in Robbie Savage who this week admitted he would find a move to Canadian side Vancouver Whitecaps 'hard to turn down'. Playmaker Kris Commons has also been linked with a move away from the club. Watford have both Marvin Sordell and Player of the Month Danny Graham in good goalscoring form so look for goals from the home side although they will be hit by the loss of Jordan Mutch and Andrew Taylor whose loan spells have finished. Youngster Piero Mingoia impressed on his first team debut in the FA Cup last week, grabbing a goal, so look for him to feature at some stage.
Home win, easy money. Perhaps it will only be by a single goal (any Watford win is available at 1.9 with Unibet) but I reckon they'll be good with the handicap.
