Ireland vs Andorra

Its the first competitive match at Irelands new stadium the Aviva stadium, previously Lansdowne Road, i used to love the old stadium as it was compact and the crowd wer on top of the players but it needed upgraded and hopefully the boys in green can hammer Andorra who are poor travellers.

Andorra lost 2-0 at home to russia which is not a bad result but they usually play far better at home than away, Ireland beat Armenia and although it was a was a close enough match Ireland created 2 chances which Robbie Keane would normally bury and they should have had a clear cut penalty.

I think tonight if they play like that they will easily score a few and have the defenders like Dunne, O'Shea and the under-rated St Ledger to hold an impotent Andorra at bay. Andorras away record is stinking and after you look at it you will see why i am taking the chace of correct score bets, i cant see them scoring and i think Keane will be looking to make amends for losing me my money on him 1st goalscorer on friday!...only jokin but Keane will be anxious to show his manager at Spurs he deserves to be starting and with Doyle as his foil and excellent wing service from Lawrence and probably Mc Geady as Duff is injured i think they will create a lot and will be roared on by an expectant Irish crowd.
