Premiership - Liverpool v Portsmouth
Portsmouth are as i have said before, a Championship team right now. They are though in the FA Cup semi-finals, so they have a bigger chance than Liverpool at getting a trophy and the focus of the team will be solely on that event in the upcoming weeks. The board are in a procedure to limit costs and tenths of employees have been laied off, while the board is searching for another owner to take over and stop the crash of the team. Utaka will be missing for the visitors, along with Mokoena, Smith and Vanden Borre, while Boateng has an ankle injury and will likely miss too.
Liverpool are still a team to fear at Anfield, no matter what their form is. They are on a very good home run and likely to continue it, while the presence of both Gerrard and Torres will almost ensure the scoring of 2 goals or more. Pompey are in a crisis and players' morale is at a low, since they do not know where and when they will be sold to reduce the debt of the club.
Portsmouth won by 2-0 at home against the Reds, but now it is payback time. As in the MU-Fulham case on Sunday, to day i expect Liverpool to get a comfortable win and even though the price is a bit low considering the hosts' form, i will take it medium stakes for a possible 2-0 or 3-0 score.
