Premiership - Aston Villa v Man. United
The Villains may of drawn with Spurs last weekend and have not been beaten in their last 5 matches but today's match against United who with Chelsea are the form sides of the Competition looms large for them, At home the Villains have not tasted defeat in their last 5 matches and that has to have them feeling good about their chances today but the task in front of them is not an easy one and unless they all play to their best they will go down against a United side who cannot seem to not find the back of the net in their games whether doing it by themselves or getting loads of help from the side they are facing, I like Villa but I feel a bit worried for them today as they tend to go into their shells when a big sides comes visiting and if they do that today it could be all over by half time, Personal wise and Davies, Bouma, Warnock and Reo-Coker are all missing in action for this match today.
United, well what can you say about them? They are winning and winning with relative ease, last week was more of the same where they just kept pressing and pressing and made the match theirs and that has been their game plan you would think over this last month, their strikers are in form, they are not allowing much at all at the back and their mid field is playing some very confident Football right now, United are Unbeaten I their last 5 matches winning all 5, But in their last 5 away from home they have collected only 7 points winning twice while losing two and drawing 1, however those road worries seem all but a distant memory now after this latest run of matches and the Red Devils appear confident and ready for action tonight, Personal wise and Ferdinand is still suspended while O’Shea and Hargreaves are still missing in action.

I have to say that the form for either side when home or away really makes you wonder on this match tonight, Villa have won 6, Drawn 4 and lost 2 of their 12 Home fixtures this term while allowing 7 and scoring 17 of their own while United have won 7, drawn 1 and lost 4 of their 12 away Fixtures this season scoring 25 and allowing 12 which really makes you think about things in this match, United can’t win forever but I am more thinking that a game against a side where no one expects it is more likely the match where United will lose as so far they seem to have no troubles when facing sides that you would think they could find some trouble with.
United's form against Villa has to be taken into account here and the Red Devils have not lost to Villa at Villa Park since well forever, In fact United have won 9 of their last 10 matches against Villa at Villa Park with only a draw 1-1 in 2001/02 being the closest they have come to beating them and we also have to remember that there is the revenge factor for United heading into this match after they were beaten 0-1 by Villa this season last December, United are in great form at the moment and for me I think they’ll win this match and when they do finally lose it will come in a game where no one expects it…Good Luck.
