Premiership - Everton v Chelsea
The Great run of results came to an end for the Toffees going down to Liverpool last weekend and to be honest the signs were not good, aimless long passes and not much commitment at all from them last weekend, Cahill and Pienaar tried hard but others looked uninterested especially Saha who was just plain awful, he did little with the ball he got and looked uninterested to chase much of anything down, Overall that was a real poor performance from the Toffees a real poor showing indeed. However back at home and looking to make amends here although what a match to be doing that in as Chelsea come a knocking , Everton have lost only once in their last 5 home matches and that was the 1-2 defeat to Birmingham, apart fro tat one slip up they have won 4 of their last 5 while scoring 10 goals and allowing only 3, the Toffees have the side to test most and will want to make amends for last weeks showing for sure in this match, Personal wise and Gosling, Hibbert, Rodwell and Jagielka are still all missing for the Toffees.
Chelsea made short work of the Gunners on Sunday and will want to keep winning as United are right on their heels again, both United and Chelsea have tricky fixtures and really either side could lose or come away with a single point and so I think that for either of those sides these matches today loom large for them and nothing but a win for either side will do, Chelsea have 3 draws and 2 wins in their last 5 away fixtures , the 2 wins came against Burnley and Presto but the 3 draws came against West Ham, Birmingham and Hull which does not exactly fill you with confidence about this match today, but Chelsea are getting better with each passing match and they need to keep winning to stay ahead of United and I actually think they can win this match against Everton tonight, Personal wise and Essien, Bosingwa and Beletti are all unavailiblke for the Blues today.

The amount of draws between these two sides is hard to ignore and I will lay a small bet on that happening to cover my self, but I do think that Chelsea are playing well and can score goals, they have come through a tricky period for them and now have their African players back which s god for them , Everton can never be discounted but I just feel that Chelsea will take this game very late and win by a single goal, so lets have a small shot at that and cover ourselves with the draw….Good Luck.
