Premiership - Wolves v Tottenham
Wolverhampton are not getting any luck and are getting little in the way of results because of it, Wolves are win less in their last 5 matches at any venue and have scored 7 goals which is good while conceding 9, At home and Wolves have not won a match in their last 4 Home fixtures and scoring goals in a real problem for them as they have allowed 7 in their last 4 home matches while scoring only 2 of their own and that was in their match with Palace in the FA Cup that ended 2-2, they have failed to score a goal in their last 3 home matches against EPL opposition, drawing 0-0 with Liverpool and losing 0-2 to Wigan and 0-3 to Man City, Little is looking good for them and a visit from Spurs whom they did beat 0-1 away earlier this season could spell trouble for them here as Spurs have really come on since then and will be all out for a win today, Personal wise and Edwards, Knightly, Murray and Keogh are all out for Wolves today.
Spurs are unbeaten in their last 5 matches scoring 6 whilst allowing 6, Spurs last 5 away matches have resulted in 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss, they have scored 6 whilst allowing 4, but their last two away matches they have drawn one and won the other and they do come here with some sense of form, they drew with Villa last weekend which is better than losing and I think they will want to avenge that earlier season loss at home to Wolves today and appear to be in the right frame of mind to achieve that, But their away form makes you worry as Spurs Only have 4 wins from their 12 away fixtures this season with 3 losses and 5 drawn matches and in many ways you could be forgiven thinking that this match is headed for another draw today but surely Spurs are going well enough at present to achieve a win here but it’s hard to say that with any real positivity in your voice, Personal wise and Pavlyuchenko, Lennon, Woodgate and Cudicini are all out today.

I really think this match is headed for a scoring draw and the possible scorelines for me are 1-1, 1-2 or 0-2, Spurs matches average 3 goals per match as does Wolves but there are differences with that as Wolves allow 2 goals per match and average 1 but Spurs average 2 per match and concede less than 1 goal per match, but with the away form of Spurs and the home form of Wolves something has got to give and so I’m not going for a clear winner as I do rate the draw as a decent option for this match and Spurs away form does little for me to not think that is a very real possibility come 90 mins at the end of this match so I’ll go with the season averages and look for 2-3 goals in this match…Good Luck.
