Premiership - Arsenal v Liverpool
The Gunners should be looking for any sort of result tonight as they host Liverpool and they will be looking for better than they have served up over their last 2 matches in which they were made to look fairly ordinary by United and Chelsea, The Gunners have been exposed at the front with not enough fire power to even gain a foothold in their last two matches and they would love to fix that tonight in what is their 3rd big match in a row, losing to United and Chelsea could be considered OK but losing to Liverpool tonight could have alarm bells ringing around Emirates stadium, The Gunners have won 3 of their last 5 matches when at home with the only loss coming against United of course 1-3, they also drew with Everton 2-2 in that sequence of matches, Personal wise and Edurado, Merida, Gibbs, Van Persie and Djourou are all out.
On the other side the earlier season form of the Reds at times seems a distant memory and they have now not tasted defeat in their last 5 matches with 3 wins and 2 draws, the best thing for Reds fans is that they have not conceded a goal in their last 360mins of Football or 4 matches to be exact and that at least keeps them in their matches and allows them the chance to win their games , Away from home though and Liverpool still only have 4 wins from 12 fixtures and in their last 5 they have drawn their last 3 matches in a row while winning one 4 matches ago against Villa, In their last 4 away matches they have scored 3 goals while allowing 2, The Reds would love to keep the good vibes going here especially as Arsenal are on the ropes and their form without Torres especially has been good and so they should come here to the Emirates feeling good about their chances, Personal wise and Torres, Benayoun, Jhonson are all still missing for the Reds.

On the face of it this game looks destined for a draw and I think that is the way to go here, Arsenal will really not want to lose this match while for the Reds they might enter this match looking for a win but would be happy to leave without losing, Liverpool for me are the better form side right now but you can’t trust them away from home while you can’t really trust Arsenal at home right now and so I’ll be having two bets, One is on 2-3 Goals in the match and the other is for the game to end with either side taking home a share of the spoils….Good Luck.
