Premiership - Liverpool v Everton
The Reds have managed 2 wins and a draw in their last 3 matches and at home they appear at least to of turned the corner, but you have to question the Quality of their opponents in those matches and this match against a resurgent Toffees outfit is bound to give us a far better insight into exactly how far Liverpool have come from only a few short weeks ago, The Reds are still without Torres and although they are creating chances they still really look a bit short without him in the goal scoring department, However the Reds have knocked in 6 goals in their last 5 fixtures and have scored 2 or more in 4 of their last 5 at Anfield including winning all 4 of their last EPL Fixtures played there scoring 8 and conceding only 2, Personal wise and as said Torres is still out as are Benayoun and Johnson who are still not in contention for a another couple of weeks.
Everton had major worries at the beginning of this season but since then they have turned it around and look to be on the rise, However a visit to their Neighbours even in such great form is no easy match and with the expectations from either side entering this match even more so, Everton have come from no where no mow find themselves in 9th spot on the EPL table thanks to them gaining 13 points from their last 5 matches which just go’s to show the form they are in, they have not been beaten in their last 4 EPL Fixtures and their lone loss in their last 5 matches was the FA Cup defeat at the hands of Birmingham, their last 5 away fixtures and they have drawn 3 while winning the other 2 and a short trip down the road is hardly going to phase them, although this is Anfield we are talking about and emotions run deep between the neighbouring Clubs, Personal wise and Distin should be back in for this match and to make life happier for Moyes Yobo and Ayegbeni are back in contention after returning from International Duties.

Both sides have their positives and negatives with Everton on the rise again and winning and Liverpool who seem to of come through their own rough patch and are also now finding their feet, On first glance I reckon draw and I still do but I fancy the 2-3 Goals in match option a bit more, both sides are in goal scoring form and Liverpool are not that easy to break down at Anfield anyway, the last 3 games between these two have finished with 2-3 Goals in the match as have 4 of their last 5, Everton should enter this derby feeling good about their chances and should play well and I reckon 1-1 or 2-1 to the home side and therefore the 2-3 Option suits my wants and needs just fine….Good Luck.
