Last night we say plenty of underdogs win up and the country, Crystal Palace dumped Wolves out of the FA Cup, Notts Co also dumped Wigan out of the FA Cup, Hull managed a surprise draw with title favourites and up in Scotland Kilmarnock upset the odds the beat Celtic, With all that fresh in our minds could we see a shock result tonight??

Fulham come into this Premiership match in there worst run of results this season, 5 league defeats on the bounce has seem Fulham drop to 11th in the table and they now find themselves (points wise) nearer the relegation zone than the European places. Fulham have always been a tough side to beat at the Cottage and have recorded fine wins this season against Man Utd and Liverpool. The make up of Fulham is that of a well disciplined workmanlike side, lacking any real match winners, but nevertheless a tough nut to crack.

Its been well documented lately the problems at Portsmouth, but they a still trying very hard on the pitch and played well recently against Man City. Despite the players recently sold some of there African Cup of Nations players have returned and that will feel like new signings to Avram Grant. As Jumbo has said these players are playing for there futures and with very little to lose will be going out to get some wins under there belts and despite sitting bottom of the table are in fact only 7 points behind Wigan in 14th spot.

Portsmouth are a terrible side off the pitch but not as bad as some people thing on it, The problems they are having could well spur the current crop of players to perform at 150% for the rest of the season. 5.50 on Portsmouth to win this match is perhaps a little bigger than it should be afterall Fulham have been beaten in there last 5 league games, Im happy to back them at a big price for small stakes here tonight as although Fulham should win i wouldnt put stolen money on a side with 5 straight defeats at odds on in a Premiership match.
