Premiership - Burnley v Chelsea
I’ll tell you what man, LordBurt could well be a genius in hiding here after the Great Henin result in the Australian Open and his pick for Laws to be the next Manager to go in the EPL because after 3 straight losses which and lets be honest will be 4 after today's match could see him on the plank being firmly pushed, although you’d have to say that matches against Man United a resurgent Toffees outfit and a Wanders side on the rise have not helped and now against Chelsea probably the hottest side in the EPL visiting this weekend it’s hardly fair now is it? But then again when is life Fair? Not much.Burnley lost their third successive game under new boss Brian Laws and as we have predicted, they are now in the relegation zone. The Clarets are likely to stay there after this round since we cannot really expect them to get something from the game with high-flying Chelsea.
What to say about Burnley….Um, they might need another new manager, in fact they might need a whole new team, I might be a bit unfair here as the sides they have faced aren’t exactly easy beats now are they? All the sides they have played have recently found form and have been far and away better than this Burnley side, I do feel sorry for them in many ways but that’s the world of Professional sport especially in the best Football League in the world and there is no place for the faint hearted once you get to this level, A win this weekend is highly unlikely unless every single player in this Chelsea side crashes on the bus on the way to the game and it bursts into a ball of fire, but you never know, stranger things have happened. Personal wise and Carlise came back in Burnleys last match while Bikey is back from Africa Cup of Nations. But midfielders Alexander and McCann picked up knocks in the Bolton game and will likely miss this match.
Chelsea look unstoppable right now and getting over Birmingham the way they did was pretty impressive, They have won their last 3 and are unbeaten in their last 5, however they have only kept a clean sheet twice in their last 5 matches and that was against the same side in either match Birmingham, However it is hard to them conceding to Burnley the way they have been playing, They again sit atop the EPL Table with a match in hand and unless they have a huge meltdown and United and Arsenal go unbeaten they should be the Champions come seasons end, which is good for me as I backed that before the season even begun, Not because I’m intelligent, more because they have better odds than United, lol. Personal wise and they just get better with Drogba and Kalou back from International duties (How the fuck does the Ivory Coast lose games in that tournament, when their side looks so good on paper??) And not many Injury worries at all to contend with.

I’m keen on 2-3 goals in this match as I really can’t see Burnley challenging them at all and I really think that Chelsea might take their feet off the pedals should they start to dominate this game to much, I also like Chelsea/Chelsea in ht/ft betting and am worried that they could score more than 3 goals on their own, but I’ll stick with 2-3 goals in this match and look for Chelsea to win 2-0 or 3-0….Good Luck.
