Justine Henin Vs Jie Jheng

Its great to see Henin out of retirement and its even better to see her in the Semi-Final of the Australian Open and just one step away from another 'Slam Final' Henin has a dream run into the Semi-Final with some good wins over the likes of Demetieva and Petrova but its probably fair to say that she has had plenty of favours along the way with Clisters and Safina both out from the bottom half of the draw before she had to play them. It could be argued that just out of retirement she may be starting to feel a little stiff at the stage of the tournement but likewise you could say she has got the rust out of her system. Personally i think this is a perfect match for her tonight against Jie Jheng and can see a fairly straightforward passage into the final.

Henin has had to dig deep in some of her matches so far but that isnt a bad thing in my opinion and will have helped her return to tennis. Despite her time away from the courts she still has a very respectable serve and a very good 2nd serve, her ground strokes still pack a punch too despite she relative small frame.

Jie Jheng has come along way since dropping the opening set here 6-0 against Peng but her tonight cannot afford a slow start against Henin. Jie Jheng has what i consider an average all round game, Her ground strokes lack the power of many of her rival and she has a pretty weak 1st and 2nd serve, But she tends to make fewer mistakes than most and covers a court very well and her Chinese mentality means she will never give up trying.

Ive always been a fan of opposing players with poor serves in correct score betting and Jie Jheng fits the bill here. Justine Henin has an average 1st serve speed of around 166kph compared to Jie Jhengs of just around 130kph Henin average 2nd serve is around 144kph which is several marks higher than Jie Jheng 1st serve, Jie Jheng has a 2nd serve average of around 118kph. A lot tonight will depend on Jie Jhengs 1st serve as Henin is bound to attack the 2nd serve quite hard. All in all when i see service speeds like this i always fancy some of the juicy priced bets for small stakes, Ive had success with these kind of bets in the past, So tonight im going to have a small interest on the correct set score in both the 1st and 2nd sets with Betfred.
