Their weakest point is their defense, and that why they need some help from the opponents.

Rangers started well the season, but shutdown their engines suddenly. Now, they have restarted the engines, however it seems that they still have some problems, in my opinion is due to "lack of work". But the talent is there, and the last 3 home results are not bad at all. 8-2 win, 6-2 win and a 2-4 loss to Penguins. So, despite a loss in their last game, and a roadtrip before that game where they score a combined 0 goals in two games, the team seems ready to todays game. They have talked in order to try improve their offense, the key that is missing right now. And with Gaborik in the roster, a Top5 points player, that issue can be easily take care.

Today Hurricanes will face a team looking for revenge. But its not all. They will not a face a team that despise them. They will face a team with no injuries. They will not face a team with lack of talent on the offensive line.
