NFL - Colts v Ravens

Here’s the Total pick for this match….It’s a tough one.

Total wise and in the last 10 matches between these two sides the Total has been passed in only 4 of those most recent 10 matches, In fact only 1 of the last 7 has passed this total set today and the set total for those matches, The last 4 matches between these two in Indy have resulted in 3 games finishing under the set total and only one above it by a single point.

The Ravens defence has allowed more than 20 points only once in their last 5 matches and that was the 3 point loss to the Steelers 3 matches ago, they have scored well going over 20 points in their last 5 matches, Meanwhile the Colts have scored with Manning running the ship over 20 points in his last 3 matches and at home in his last two matches against the Titans and Broncos the Colts did not allow more than 17 points and their rush defence also limited the Broncos to under 100 rushing yards while allowing the Titans 143 rushing yards but still won the game 28-16.

All of that said I am expecting a close game for large parts of this match but I do also expect the Colts to be the more likely scorers in this match, The Colts defence will allow some chances but the TOP for the Ravens could make this game into far more of a war than even I think it should be, I do think that the Ravens enter here in good form and therefore will have some confidence about them but a lot of how they maintain that will depend on how well Manning go’s in this game.

On season averages the Colts average home score finished in totals around the 30-40 point mark but in a few when upwards of 50, The ravens on the road this season finished their matches with a season total road average around 35-45 points so this game is poised for either way you fancy really on this total.

This Total seems large but I am going to have a shot on the over, I reckon Manning will drive for 3 TD’s and I also think that the Ravens will get into scoring position at least 3 times coming away with some sort of score, However Flacco will have to throw to achieve that and so an INT could come into play and the Colts could run away with it.

I’m expecting a close contest here and a final score of Colts 27 – Ravens 14-17, So Iffy but I’m going for a small shot on the total to finish over….Good Luck.
