Jimmy White needs little or no introduction being 6 time world championship runner up, but of late he has been a different player, falling from the top 16 and seemingly out of love with the game. However he has been enjoying something of a comeback of late with good performances in qualifying and has been given a wildcard here. He was recently in the I'm a celebrity get me out of here tv show where he came 3rd and lost nearly 2 stone in weight. Those around the star have been saying that he is a different person and that his snooker has bloomed. He can dispatch a player in Mark King that is just about clinging onto his to 16 status easily en route to better things.
