NFL - Arizona Cardinals v Packers

I’ve got to say the Total Bet on this game is far from easy, on the face of it this game should end over the Total, I rate either side good enough with the ball to score 3 TD’s each gaining us 42 points, however the Total for this match is set at 47 and that is clever from the Bookies, Normally post season games in any sport are hardly score fests and they are banking on this game looking like an overs game but falling short, Personally I love the over because I like seeing sides score points and although the Bookies are begging for us to jump on the Under by raising this Total from 45 to 47 I still think that there is value in the over here, even though history tells us that there isn’t.

Total wise and these games are usually unders affairs with only 1 of the last 5 matches ending over the set total and the 3 matches played in Arizona have resulted in every single game between the 30-40 point range.

The Packers went into Arizona last weekend with a plan to win and win well and they achieved that but in doing so they have allowed the cardinals to see what they have and set in place plans to stop it, Wisenhunt the Cardinals Coach has said that he’ll look at last weeks match and last 5 that the Packers have played to try and come up with answers to stop them and I think he can, last post season the average score in the Cardinals games was 50 points in total per game , their scores were 30-24 against the Falcons at Home, 33-13 on the road to the Panthers, 32-25 at Home against the Eagles and the Superbowl which of course they lost but the final score was 27-23.

I rate the Cardinals and Packers as I have already said to score 3 TD’s each, but I also think that a INT could come into play for either side and therefore put us over, I’ll also allow for 2 FG’s in this contest and so this game seems headed for over 47 points and likely over 50, The Packers average score on the road this season was 31 with a total on matches on the road this season being at 45 or more , meanwhile the Cardinals average home score was 24 with a total on those matches on average being 41 or more.

I think that this game could be the most entertaining of the opening Round for Spectators and it should finish with a decent score, I reckon this game will be decided in the final Quarter maybe on the last play of the game, A few weeks ago the Packers lost in heart breaking fashion to the Steelers 37-36 and It would not surprise me one bit if that was the way this game ended this weekend…I’m take the Over as the main bet for this game and for the Opening weekend of this seasons NFL Playoffs…Good Luck.
