NBA - Portland v Denver Nuggets

Portland is coming home after 4 matches on a road. The trip was pretty successful winning last three in Miami, San Antonio and Dallas. The wins means a lot when we know that they played without their main center and second best player in the team Oden who suffered an injury few weeks ago. Huge blow for the team for this match is the absence of the other center, Przybilla which makes Portland very weak in the paint. Another big problem could be the absence of Brendon Roy who did not played the last match against San Antonio. He is the leading scorer and best player in last two seasons in the team.

Denver is on poor away record with four losses in a row. Billups is doubtful as the decision whether he will play or not will be set at game time. He is very important player for the team and Denver lost two of the three played matches without him. If he plays, this bet probably would be almost a banker.

Portland and Denver played once already this season and Denver won in Portland with 94:97. In last 5 matches, 4 in the last season and one this season, Portland dominated in the paint, collecting much more rebounds. Tonight they will be without their main power players in the paint, which will give huge advantage in the paint on their opponent. Denver was better team outside the paint, but now the opponent without handicapped under the rims gives the advantage on them on that field too.

Denver is far away from strong away team, but Portland despite their good form, is having huge injury troubles, which gives me a reason to bet on the away team
