The last time the Philadelphia Eagles visited Giants Stadium, they ended the New York Giants' bid to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

The Giants aren’t favoured here but they had a great win last weekend with RB Jacobs having a big impact in last Sunday’s 31-24 win over Dallas. He scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the season before finding the end zone again on a 74-yard reception that put the Giants ahead for good in the third quarter.Jacobs is averaging 85.2 rushing yards in his last five games against Philadelphia. Manning will need to lift here as he has been ordinary of late and without him the Giants are at sea, One of his WR’s also needs Manning to have a good game as Steve Smith is second in the NFC with 979 receiving yards and needs five receptions to break Amani Toomer's single-season club record of 82, set in 2002. That mark is the lowest such franchise record in the NFL.

Philadelphia has won three straight over New York. The Eagles won 40-17 at home Nov. 1, and prevailed at Giants Stadium twice last season including a 23-11 victory in a divisional playoff game. If the Eagles' streak reaches four, Philadelphia will be two games up on New York with three games left and own the tiebreaker over the Giants for any playoff spot. The Eagles are tied for first in the East with Dallas. McNabb threw for 238 yards and one score last Sunday in Philadelphia's third straight win overall, 34-7 at Atlanta. Good news for the Eagles with the return of DeSean Jackson as they are still without Westbrook, Jackson sat out against the Falcons after suffering a concussion the previous week against Washington. He leads the Eagles with 769 receiving yards and has scored seven touchdowns - six receiving.

I like the Giants, I think they have all the pieces of the puzzle to form a great side, their Offensive line is strong and when their defence is on they can roll most sides, last weeks win against the Cowboys was a big one and they also got things from certain players that has been missing all season long and that has to have them feeling good about their chances in tonight's big game, meanwhile the eagles are a great side who are damaging and they do tend to show up in big games like this one, BUT I fancy the Giants here and I think they have turned a corner after last weeks come from behind win over the Cowboys and so I’m willing to back them in here and hope they can win, because if there is still a side I think all the other sides had better be afraid of, it’s this Giants side….Good Luck.
