Asian Handicap Line :
Im a big fan of Blackpool at home this year and they have been a good source of income backing them at home. However a 1 - 1 draw to Preston midweek broke their good run and it will be very interesting to see how they react. Barnsley were very unfortunate to be leading 4 - 1 at Plymouth last week before the game was abandoned due to the weather. They will feel a little sore that their great result was taken from them and will have no fear of todays opponents. I like the look of goals in this one, Blackpool have been solid and scored almost 2 in each home game. Ian Holloway has no fresh injury worries but will be hoping his side can restore their impressive home record of 6 - 3 - 0.
Barnsley boss Mark Robins must do without midfielder Nathan Doyle after he picked up a fifth caution in last weekend's abandoned game with Plymouth, and although the game was not completed, the booking stands and he serves a one-game ban which is a bit stupid. Anderson de Silva, who was serving a similar suspension in the game, must sit out again as his suspension didnt count! Go figure!
I have seen Barnsley play a few times and think they are better than their league position suggests. They are definately capable of causing problems to Blackpool so i think this game will go over 2.5.
Good luck!
