Carling Cup - Blackburn v Chelsea

Its hard not to be impressed with Chelsea this year. They demonstrated on Sunday just why they are the best team in the premiership and I expect them to be in the final of the carling cup. Even if they rest some players they have serious quality in every position on the bench and have players waiting in the wings that would stroll onto most other teams.

Blackburn have been a model of inconsistancy this year and cant seem to string a run of decent results together. More importantly, David Dunn is out and he will be a big loss to Rovers. They were pretty tame in their 0 - 0 draw with Stoke at the weekend and have a big tie against Liverpool to look forward to at the weekend.

I fancy two bets for this game and am stuck between which one to go with. I can only see a Chelsea win but dont fancy the odds offered so i like the look of Chelsea to win both halves or else Chelsea to win to nil. The Chelsea defence is getting better and better with each passing week and Cech is finally looking like he could be getting back to his old self. I think il stick with Chelsea to win both halves, as I see it they are capable of getting 3 or 4 goals with ease. They cruised past Blackburn 5 - 0 a few weeks ago and i think they will try and get the job done early tomorrow night as they also have an important game at the weekend. Chelsea to win both halves it is!
