Premiership - Special Market v Special Market
A tricky looking coupon today and what with it being The FA Cup in both England and Scotland there isnt a lot i fancy so am going to stick with my 'unders' bet as it served me well during the midweek champions league games.
6 premiership games make up the bet this week and the fixtures are:
Blackburn vs Stoke
Fulham vs Bolton
Man City vs Hull
Portsmouth vs Man United
West Ham vs Burnley
Wigan vs Sunderland
It doesnt appear to be the most inspiring set of premiership fixtures for a saturday afternoon and none of the games leap out to me as high scoring games,
Stoke have only managed 13 goals from 13 games this season and Blackburn just 16 from 13 matches, Fulham usually keep things tight at home so i expect a tight low scoring game there, Man City Vs Hull is an obvious worry as both sides have been involved in high scoring games recently but i expect Man City to win and with Hulls poor away form wonder if they can score any themselves. Portsmouth with new boss Avram Grant (permit waiting) will be looking to impress him and although i expect Man Utd to win a think it will be low scoring. West Ham/Burnley also looks tight with maybe West Ham just edging it. After Wigan conceding 9 last week im sure they will aim to keep things very tight today against Sunderland.
Under 16 goals from these 6 matches allows us an average 2.5 goals per game, which is slightly higher than the normal mark we get offered and at odds of 2.37 its worth a little bit of my pocket money!!
