NFL - Ravens v Steelers
Huge Sunday Night game here as both the sides who went deep into the Playoffs last season with the Steelers winning it in the end facing off again tonight on Sunday Night Football in what should be a great game.
The last time the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens met a place in the Super Bowl was at stake. It was a great game and the Steelers advanced and won the Title, What will happen tonight??
Baltimore failed to score an offensive TD for the second straight game last week falling 17-15 to the unbeaten Colts. Baltimore is seeking to revive an offense that has only one touchdown in the last three games. Flacco has gone three straight games without a touchdown pass for the first time in his career after throwing for 256 yards - 142 to Derrick Mason - in last week's loss. Flacco had one touchdown, five interceptions and a 44.9 completion percentage while getting sacked 10 times in the three losses to Pittsburgh last season. The Ravens also have a big injury concern as It's unclear if linebacker Terrell Suggs will return after sitting out last week, missing his first NFL game in seven years due to a sprained knee. Roethlisberger might be eager t take the field if he is not there as he was sacked 10 times in three games against Baltimore last season. The Ravens might be losing but it isn’t by much and they can fix their problems, the absence of Polamalu should help in that regard and after a few games of looking bad, I’m looking for the ravens to show something tonight.
The Steelers get some good news entering this game as Ben Roethlisberger is expected to start for the Steelers despite his fourth concussion since 2006, He must first pass a Test though, but has been named to start. The Steelers beat the Ravens three times last season on the way to their sixth Super Bowl title, The last of those the AFC title game was the most fierce of them all. Yardage was hard to come by and each team had to punt seven times, The Steelers finally put the game out of reach with Polamalu's interception return for a touchdown with 4:24 left. Pittsburgh have now lost two straight but last Sunday’s loss was amazing blowing a 10-point lead in a 27-24 overtime defeat to the Cheifs. They have also been dealt a major blow with Poamalu unlikely to play against the Ravens, The Steelers are 2-3 without him, and the five-time Pro Bowl safety saw action for only a few plays in an 18-12 loss to the Bengals on Nov. 15. Another area the Steelers might look to improve in is their special teams play. They have allowed an NFL-high four kick-return touchdowns in their last five games after surrendering one on the opening kickoff last week.
The Steelers are 6-4 in their last 10 against the Ravens but are 4-6 ATS, the Steelers have won their last 3 against the Ravens twice at home and last seasons dubious 13-9 win in Baltimore, That win was the Steelers first in Baltimore in their previous 4 matches, The Ravens are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 at home against the Steelers, Total wise and 6 of the last 10 have been over the set total but 3 of the last 4 played in Baltimore have resulted in Under the set total.
Intresting game here really, the Steelers come into M&T Bank Stadium having lost their last two matches against sides they really should of beaten in the Chiefs and Bengals, while the ravens have now lost 3 of their last 5 and have been alternating wins in their last 5 matches which if that rings true they are due a win here tonight.
The Steelers shade the ravens on defence and pass for more yardage than the Ravens, but the Ravens rush for more yards than the Steelers do, Just. The ravens average more and concede less than the Steelers on the season and that will be encouraging for the Ravens entering this match.
If big Ben is out for this game I fancy the ravens and even with him playing I fancy them anyway, they had their chances against the Colts last weekend but could not take them and I would think that will be playing on their minds entering today's game, The Ravens will face a tough Steelers defence especially on the rush with the Steelers having not allowed more than 91 yards in any of their last 5 matches, but I still like the Ravens to take this game out.
The Ravens are losing games but not by much, they have not taken their chances in recent times and with their season pretty much on the line they need to win this match tonight, I’m going to go with them, their home record against the Steelers is very good and the loss here last season was dubious to say the least, the last 2 regular season matches between these two sides the ravens should of won, Kicking again could be an Issue but I’m willing to back the Ravens to win here in what should be a great hard game….Good Luck.
That’s it for me, Fuck the NBA I’m finishing now, I’ll leave you with my list of the Top 5 Tipsters that I believe you should watch out for. Everyone is good but these are the guys I watch for, many of you should have heard of them before…
5. TEDDIE 21 and DAMIRJ…They would be higher but Neither is posting that much anymore, Im fact Damirj isn’t, but he is here on Betshoot and hopefully will one day start dropping his Tennis picks again, Teddie21, well most should know what I think of him, great with his football and good reasoning.
4.BLACKCROW....I’ve always liked him and he is still pumping out the Picks on a daily basis, yeah he does like big odds and sometimes bums out because of it, but you can’t doubt his effort and his percentage of just picking a winning side is pretty fucking fantastic, also he’s from my side of the World and I like those Flippin Aussies.
3.These two are only toed for 3rd because I haven’t seen them around much anymore…HAYATE and DIVOL , both Basketball tipsters…Great wining percentages and well thought out write ups, they both know their shit about what they love..If you see them around then watch out for what they say.
2. This is a Tie as I really can’t separate them and I rate either of them highly Jadran and SANKEKUR…JADRAN is brilliant at his European Basketball tips and s always there or there abouts, good write ups and a Great Tipster….Sankekur…I’ve talked him up before, used to be mainly only Tennis but now I see is branching out into the NBA and the like, and going ok there, great to see him trying other stuff, ..Both Dudes are clever and both dudes can be trusted to give their best.
1. FFALLEN…I sometimes hate that he takes short odds but his record of choosing the winning side or person is pretty fucking amazing, My record isn’t the greatest but if you go back and look at every single game I’ve done and just go off the team that won the actual game itself not counting the spread or the like, my percentage of just picking the winner and winner alone is over 76 % over the last 4 years on here, I don’t know what his percentage is, but it is around there or even higher, probably higher.. If you like just taking the H2H markets, then look for him at Betting Advice or Sports Punter.com
For me those guys are the best and I appreciate their work and watch out for them when they post, No one is perfect, but no shit guys, these guys sure try hard to be that way…Later’s Brothers and Sisters…
