Serie A - Lazio v Bologna
29 November 2009
Lazio began the season bright. They won the Italian Supercup against Inter in Beijing and started the series with victories over Atalanta and Chievo. Subsequently, it has been downhill. Ten straight matches in Serie A without victory, but things start to brighten. President Lotito has surprisingly not fired the coach Ballardini and they were in the match against Milan two weeks ago worth at least one point, after a very good second half. Down in Naples last weekend was also a very good game and could very well gone home with all the points.
Bologna has so far collected 12 points, just as many as Lazio. But only two have been captured away from Renato Dall `Arra. I believe in a tough match were Lazio will come out as winners with the smallest possible margin. 1-0 or 2-1 is a likely outcome.
Lazio still have Ledesma and Pandev suspended due to a contract disput. Bizzarri, Siviglia, Perpetuini and Matuzalem is out injured and Julio Cruz is suspended. Bologna will miss Mutarelli, Moras, Valiani and Lavecchia
