NBA - Indiana Pacers v Dallas Mavericks
Dirk Nowitzki has been leading the lineup like the captain that he is, with 26.9 ppg, which is higher than some of his previous seasons. With a new faster offensive lineup with the likes of Gooden, Marion, Terry and Barea, it bodes well for Nowitzki to draw the defenders outside and grab the 3 pointers.
All this and Josh Howard hasn't yet played a game, and the old war horse Jason Kidd is never even taken seriously in the same breath. Eric Dampier has been injured for a few games now as well and imagine with all these players fit, what a destructive force the Mavericks can be.
Indiana on the other hand have continued to struggle with injuries. They have lost 4 out of their last 5, and Danny Granger will continue to sit out a few more games as he struggles to get fit from injury. Mike Dunleavy is also going to be missing, but is going to be fit shortly for the Pacers, which could help them in December.
Dantahy Jones has been the main offensive weapon for the Pacers in their 5 game winning streak in between, but its not possible for one man to cover up for 2 main scorers missing in this Pacer lineup.
Dallas should cover this spread easily today.
