Eurocup - Aalstar v FMP
The belgium hosts are really mediocre team, they are on 2W and 6L in their weak domestic championship managing to win only against weakest team in the competition,Optima Gent and hardly by 4 against Antwerpen Giants, that are also just on 4W 4L and surely not a serious team. Both of these wins came at home of course,in front of their own home crowd, which is by the words of FMP s coach Vlada Djurovic, who worked here 13 years ago, pretty loud audience. This is typical belgium team with 8 americans in the roster, from which Brian Greene and B.J.Raymond are leading the offense. However,it seems that this team is very limited in that segment of their game, their outside shooting is usually around 30% per game and beside belgian Piet Debel(does not play),that is 210 cm tall, there is nobody taller than 203 cm(two players).
FMP is coming after being destroyed in Zadar in a game where they were down by 20 already at the halftime, but they had nothing to search for there,at this moment, and especially without their first center Raduljica and young Musli. However this is the game they will approach with seriousness, not only in a will to bounce back, but in a order to take this opportunity to steal a road W which could be decisive in the end.I believe they are by far better team here and they could capitalize their size and interior advantage which is more than obvious here. The bad news is leaving of Branko Cvetkovic who has signed for Scavolini, but this game could be an ideal opportunity for some players that have been struggling so far,to catch up the right form(Labovic).I will go here with FMP and I choose not to touch the line this time,FMP win,mid stakes,GL!
