Division II - Brechin v Arbroath

Im a little bit surprised by the reasonably high odds on a Brechin City win here, Ok maybe the 'new manager' factor at Arbroath may have given them a lift but even so......

Brechin City are sitting 3rd in the table at the moment having started the season as one of the title favourites and will be in the mix come the end of the season im sure. At home Brechin are still 100% having won all 5 games so far, its the poor away form of just 1 win in 7 that is keeping them off the top spot. In mid September Brechin recorded there only away win, ironically that was against todays oponents Arbroath and was a comprehensive 4-1 win.

Arbroath are on a run of 4 straight defeats in which they have failed to score a goal in that run 3-0 defeats against Clyde and Stenhousemuir stand out as pretty poor shows. Of course they will be lifted by the new manager but it might take a few weeks for it all to settle down for them and a trip to Brechin isnt an ideal starting game.

1.72 looks a decent price on a home win here, especially when some firms are as low as 1.50 here. Im happy to again have some correct score picks with a saver on the Brechin win.
