Overall, 35 goals scored and 47 received for Södertälje which has one of the most hesitant defenses in Elitserien.

Luleå occupyes fifth place in the stands with 23 points and a balance with eight wins and seven defeats. It seems that the arrival of Abbott brothers, Cam and Chris from Rögle was something special because this two, along with Lavander, Fransson, Fabricius or Arlbrandt are leading extremely good the team on the ice, Luleå playing a nice hockey and managing to score 43 goals so far.

For this game, Södertälje is missing some important players as goalie Björn Bjurling and players Fredrik Svensson, Topi Jaakola, Jörgen Bemström and Julian Jakobsen. Luleå won't count on Robin Jonsson and Thomas Raffl, while Anders Nilsson is missing because of international duties with U20 National Team.

Luleå have won the last five matches between this two teams, last one 8-2 this season in Coop Arena. AXA Sports Center has been a difficult arena for Södertälje's opponents this season, only Rögle and Brynäs going back home with points from here. I think this will change today, Luleå having the necessary force to defeat a team that starts to crack when important players are missing.
