What a start for Charlton, having 5/5 wins in League One. The first 2 games were away, wining Hartlepool utd 0-2 and L.Orient 1-2. Then they did their first at home, wining Walsall 2-0 and then they went away again, wining Tranmere 0-4!

However, manager Parkinson has started the same 11 in all 5 matches, and news say he won't change them unless a need.

Some people think Charlton may soon need back-ups when the players will start getting injuries or tiredness after continuous games. Only the right-back Richardson may be absent tomorrow against co-Londoners Brentford.

Brentford on the other hand has started medium. Five games till now, 3 draws, 2 wins. The last two league games are both draws, where four days ago they played for the Trophy against Norwich (lost 1-0), playing with many changes in the squad.

Andy Scot said is happy with the team's progress so far. "We haven't lost yet. We got 9 points in 5 games, not bad for a start" he said.

Defensive problems for Brentford however. Left-back Dickson and captain center-back Benett are absent, whereas main center back Filips is injured in the Trophy game. Also, center back Wilson (Wales national team U21) was absent from training as he was in the squad of Wales playing Italy. His readyness is unsure.

Attackers McDonald and Stevens are absent long-term.

I believe Charlton is a stronger team and their momentum will help them get the 3 points against a mediocre team. I have to admit that I dont like the odds offered, but given the strength of Charlton we can risk it with lower odds..
