1 is Tiger Woods as he won last week and is very much in the hunt for his first major in a while in next weeks USPGA, and he also was superb last week winning the Buick Open. He loves this course too having won here 6 times, but at around 13/8 is a very short price.

2 is the fact that Phil has been having some family problems with his mother being ill and his wife having breast cancer. The whole golf world have supported the Micklesons in their dark hours and it has been touching to see.

Phil was last seen in the US open where he finished second behind surprise winner Lucas Glover, he is the sort of player who can shoot 63 or 73 dependent on how his putter works, but either way he will not let it affect him mentally, he is without doubt one of the strongest players metally on tour these days.

He also loves it round here and was 4th last time he played here.
