WTA - Victoria Azarenka v S. Williams

I have watched Azarenka in her all matches during this tournament and I am satisfied with what I saw, she destroyed Raluca Olaru in R2, Cirstea with a perfect display on her serve and Petrova. She lost only a set against Petrova but Azarenka was controling the game excluding that second set, in first had some chances to close the set earlier than tie-break but she did not converted them and in the last took advantage of Petrova enthusiasm and won the match. Is clearly that is very strong mentaly, is not easy to come back in the match after a miserable set.

On the other hand, Williams after a not so great start of the tournament she imposed her agressive tennis and won against Groth, Vinci and Hantuchova extremly comfortable. I agree that she is great on fast surfaces holding a very good record here 29-4 reaching three finals, one win and two lost but today will face Azarenka who is also good on fast.

H2H is very interesting, Azarenka won their last meeting this year in Miami winning extremly comfortable, dropping only 4 games while at Australian Open she retired due to heat conditions after winning first set and 4-2 in second for Williams and also at AO Serena won in straight sets in 2008. Well, Azarenko looks to have what she needs against a player like Serena, can mix very well the game and control the rallies from baseline, is more patient and could force Serena making lot of unforced errors. In this conditions I think the handicap is best option, odds are 2.00 for +4 and definetly I will take this bet with medium stakes.
