Twenty20 - Ireland v Special Bets

Ok i will admit it, the bookies have reeled me in on this one, im a sucker for a good price and with this bet the bookies seem a little confused, There are 2 parts that have sucked me in here, Firstly the price, Corals go 33/1 and Bluesq go as low as 8s thats one hell of a difference of opinion, Secondly Corals are kindly offering us the E/W option for 1st 3 and 1/5 of the odds. So what is the bet???

Alex Cusack to be Irish top batsman!!!

Alex Cusack is an Irish all rounder, although he was actually born in Australia and knows which end of a cricket bat to hold. In Irelands win over Bangladesh Cusack was down to bat at number 8 but wasnt needed in that game, In Irelands 2nd match (defeat to India) Cusack came into bat at number 9 and shared a quick fire 20 partnership in just 10 balls, he himself fired a quick 12 runs off just 6 balls including 2 fours. He was Ireland 4th highest scorer in that match. In Irelands last game Vs New Zealand, Possible on the back of his quick fire 12 he was promoted slightly up the order and batted at number 7 and again batted very well, scoring 20 off just 12 balls including 1 six and 1 four, In this match he made the top 3 in Irelands top scorers with only Botha (28) and Wilson (23) outscoring him. Ive said in my previous post that i cant see Ireland scoring a big total here and would be surprised if they scored more than 120, The top 4 or 5 in the Irish line up will be facing the likes of 'Slinger Malinga' and the spin twins of Mendis and Muralitharan and could be in for a very tough time. Its not impossible for the Irish to find themselves around 50 for 5 when Cusack comes to the crease. Im certainly not one for backing the shorter priced top order batsmen in a side like Irelands and really do see some value in the lower order players, Of course Cusack will need, i imagine, to score around 20 or so to be in with a shout of landing this E/W bet but at 33s i cant ignore the price. I think he will get a bat, i think Ireland will score under 120 and i think Ireland will get off to a poor start, For me it all points to taking a small punt or the bottom 4 Irish players excluding the number 11.
