NRL Rugby - Roosters v Titans
Bailey and Rodgers are both out for tonight's game and that means a large chunk of their attack and defence is missing,I thought that this game could be the upset of the round and now with those two out even more so..
There are games that come around where a side is due and I have to say that I think this game is the one this round...
The Roosters are having an awful season sitting in 15th position with an awful record on attack scoring only 189 points while conceding a massive 340 against, the last few weeks and losing is again still happening with them losing their last 4 to the Storm,Knights,Panthers and Sea Eagles, their first halves have been good but their second halves have been a disaster, however I get the impression with al the bad results and the internal fighting between Fitler and his players that they are due tonight to pull out a win,the Sharks and Eels have done it in the last few weeks and now I think the Roosters at home with alot of troubles will find that winning mentality tonight.
The Titans have won their last 2 against the Dragons and Sea Eagles ,the Sea Eagles game was won on a bogus last second call for the Titans to kick a penalty and take the game by 1 point and last week they just skipped past the Dragons, but their road form over the last few seasons has been their problem and this season they are trying to improve in that area, however it is still a problem as the Titans have won only 2 of 6 away this season and do not look like the same side when playing at home, they began well on the road but as the season has gone on the same problems are happening and the loss of two of their best players likely will not help.
Since the Titans have come into the Comp they have beaten the Roosters twice and lost once, that was in Sydney in 2007 24-18 and I have a feeling that that scoreline could be around the same again, the Roosters have a decent side but have not shown it,look for them to surprise us all and go very close here if not win this game...Good Luck.
