NBA - Orlando Magic v LA Lakers
I took the Lakers by 10 or less in Game 2 and now as the Series shifts there is only one bet I feel truly good about and that’s the total to go over 198 in this game tonight.
Game 1 and the Lakers were just to dominant for the Magic especially inside,it also did’nt help that the Magic had a really bad shooting night either and as such the Lakers won by 25…Game 2 and the Magic were better and had Lee made that Alley opp at the end of the game we could have a tied series moving into this game, but alas it was’nt to be and the lakers got up by 5 96-101 and now we move to Orlando for Game 3 and the Magic have to win here to have any realistic chance of making this a competitive series of matches.
Game 1 and the Lakers inside were far to big and strong for a lone Dwight Howard and it showed,Game 2 and the Magic made their shots but still were pretty hesitant in taking the open shot, although they lost by 5 and had a chance to snatch the game away their shot selection was really bad especially in the first half of that game,at least 6 times certain Magic players could of gone in for lay ups and it was so crowded in the paint that they could of come away with a shot and one and yet they would not go inside, now they are at home and that should make them more confident to get in there and give it a go,they will also get some favourable calls and so they must make the most of that advantage in this game and I think they can and will, however the lakers have shown that they are ready for the Challenge and will go all out to get a 3-0 Series lead and from there they will be very hard to stop.
The Magic have it all in their favour in the next 3 matches with all 3 games to be played in Orlando and they must make that work for them or else all is lost, the Magic have shown time and time again that they can rise to the challenge but I have to admit that I always fancy them far more on the road than at home and the same thoughts enter my mind here as this game gets ready to start, however home court has me looking at this total as a better option than picking a winner, the Magic were not ready in Game 1 and it showed,Game 2 and they were a lot better and Howard had a plan and stuck to it while their outside shooting improved dramatically, the Lakers own the inside but Howard gives them troubles but the Magic can especially at home own the outside as at times in Games 1 and 2 the Lakers had 4 players on Howard and the other 4 Magic players were all on the perimeter waiting to get the ball but it never came and when it did the Magic in the first half were woeful while in the second of Game 2 they were hitting from there…5 of the last 5 between these two in Orlando have resulted in over in totals set and the last two there have passed this mark with ease…I’ll go for that again tonight…Good Luck.
