The Yankees are red hot and now have just broken the MLB record with 18 consecutive games without an error after winning against the Indians yesterday 5-2 and have surpassed the 2006 Red Sox for that Error record,now they return home to face off against the Rangers who are also pretty hot right now...

The Yankees will go with AJ Burnett 3-2 with an era of 4.78 who after a few rough outings was back to his best in his last start, Burnett has been roughed up a few times this season but in his last start against this Rangers side he was excellent throwing 6 scoreless innings and walking 4 but striking out 7 in a 9-2 Yankees win, The Yankees behind Burnett have won 2 of his last 3 starts and in those starts Burnett has numbers of 1-1 with an era of 3.38, Career wise and Burnett has faced the Rangers in 6 starts and is 2-2 with an era of 4.02,in that last start against the Rangers he finished with numbers of 1-0 with an era of 0.00....In the last 5 games that Burnett has started against the Rangers the team he has started for has won 3 in a row and 4 of the last 5.

The Yankees are 5-5 in their last 10 against the Rangers and at home are 1-2 in their last 3 there against them,the Yankees are doing everything right right now and would love to carry that on today and extend their lead in the AL East and I think they can,it could be close for a while but look for the Yankees to have that one decent inning and kick away here...Good Luck.
