NRL Rugby - Eels v Sharks
The way the Sharks are going right now you would say that they are in real trouble here against this Eels side who themselves are not going to well, but the Eels are missing the one player who has been standing up for them with Hayne gone to Origin and as such the Sharks although it does’nt seem like it are in this game but could easily be out of it should they not show up ready…
The Eels enter this game on the back of last weeks draw against the Bunnies and are without Hayne and still have no Mateo with Anderson moving Reddy into standoff for this weekends game,Parramatta have been trying hard with a few players jumping out by miles in their efforts, the loss of Mateo and Keating is pretty big as they are their two best set up men but the loss of Hayne is even bigger as he has carried this side on his back now for the last few weeks and without him they could be I even more of a hole, they are though playing against a Sharks side missing their captain and best player and should feel good about winning this game, however they are in the midst of an injury crisis and that is the one thing that is putting a cloud over this game their loss of personal and the absence of the one player who has been magnificent for them in recent weeks Jarrod Hayne.
The Sharks come here on the back of a full house last week at Shark Park in which they received plenty of support but yet were still flogged by the Dragons 4-26,their were times when they looked good but once again they struggled to get the ball over the line and now without Gallen for this game and all the internal Club turmoil that will remain a huge problem for them again against an Eels side who are losing but will view this game as a must win for themselves,if you bother to go ad have a look at this Sharks side named for this match it makes for interesting reading with a number of names you would of never heard of before, the only first grade regulars in this Sharks line up are Covell,Barrett,Snowden,Douglas and Tupou but the other 8 players ae all of limited NRL experience and that could be the death knoll for them again this week, there is a real lack of experience here and they could easily be rolled by an Eels side wanting to get back to winning ways tonight.
The Sharks have won 2 of their last 3 against this Eels side and 4 of the last 5 in Parramatta, but I doubt that any of that will matter tonight in this game, the Sharks are so short on personal that the Eels would have to implode here(It has happened before) in order for this Sharks team to get up,I look through both sides and even though the Eels are not going well and will be without their best player in recent weeks this Sharks line up looks so weak and with them being desperate and the Eels being the same something has got to give here and I think the Eels will get the win tonight and it could be by a fair bit as well….Good Luck.
