NRL Rugby - Sharks v Dragons
The Sharks have now lost 8 in a row and to be honest you have to wonder exactly how they can stop this losing sequence, losses to the Panthers ,Roosters,Bunnies and the Cowboys have really derailed their season, while it is never great to be losing you would expect the Sharks to be getting closer and closer to gaining a win but it is just not happening for them, now they have lost Maitua who appears to be on Steroids and the Sharks are behind the 8 ball even more,In Rd 3 the Sharks almost beat the Dragons but lost 10-6 but it would have had to of been their best performance all season long and maybe they can get some confidence off that fact, the Sharks also have a great record against the Dragons but still a win here from the Sharks would very much be a surprise.
The Dragons got away with one last weekend thanks to Steve Clark who obviously had money on the Dragons(lol) but win they did and that’s all that counts, but again I am still not impressed with their attack although it did improve slightly last weekend against the Bulldogs, the Dragons are still making a living off other teams mistakes and week by week are doing it,last week was perhaps the first game this season where they have done well in setting up their fringe runners and they did look great at times in that game ,the real danger for the Dragons here is not their own form but it is a mental thing, they are playing a side who historically have beaten them and also are facing a side who cannot seem to figure out how to win and those are the Dangers for this Dragons side because if we go off form alone here then the Dragons should really shit all over them this Saturday Night.
The Sharks have a great record against the Dragons having won 5 of the last 7 against the Dragons and in Cronulla have won 7 of the last 9 and 4 of the last 5,a few of those game s have been by big margins also.
Hard to not like the Dragons here but the Sharks can’t lose forever and this game is huge for either side, the Sharks may not be winning but the side they have should give them that chance sooner or later, the Dragons deserve their place up the NRL ladder but I have a feeling that this game will not be a one sided affair and the Sharks will have a chance to win this game, but the class and form of the Dragons should see them through…Good Luck.
