Blue Square South - Thurrock v Braintree

A must win game for Thurrock tonight....but in reality, they are already doomed to the wastes of Step 4 football next season. They are hosting a Braintree side that is mid table and on a very good little run of form as they enter into their summer break. They mashed St Albans 3-0 away at the weekend, and the week before they were 4 minutes away from beating massive local rivals Chelmsford, before they got 2 late goals.

I really fancy that the Braintree faithful could well out number the home support here as it has been a balmy spring day, and what better way to finish it off than to go and gub local rivals in a game where a win would send them down !

The pressure is massively on the home team to get a result here, and if, as I predict, Braintree score first, they could well crumble, and it could end up humiliating.
