Blue SQ Premier - Histon v Ebbsfleet

We have now entered the point of the season where we need to check out teams motivation before we even consider jumping on what looks to be an obvious win, I tend not to get involved with backing clubs whos season is over at this stage (them sides mid table with nothing to play for) and try to concentrate on side with promotion and relegation issues still at hand that are playing such sides. Of course prices can get pretty skinny here too so value is also worth considering, a 1.5 shot can easily get priced up at 1.3 at this stage of the season.

Histon Vs Ebbsfleet

Histon have everything left to play for, they sit 1 place and just 2 points outside the Play-off but with a game in hand on there rivals, So Thursdays game with Ebbslfeet is a must win for them. A win will see them leap up to 3rd place in the table. Histon are in the middle of a little slump at the moment and are currently 4 without a win, 3 of them games were away from home though.

Ebbsfleet have played a ridiculous amount of games in the past few weeks and are a very tired looking side, Now technically they can still get relegated, So you might think they have everything to play for in this match. As i said above it is mathmatically possible they could still be relegated but that would involved some freakish results. On Saturday Ebbsfleet play Weymouth, Which is in my opinion a much bigger game for them than the Histon game, If they beat Weymouth they are safe regardless, Now of course if they beat Histon they are also safe. What Ebbsfleet wont want is to burn themselves out on Thursday and lose and be even more jaded for the Weymouth match.

I just think that this game holds much more importance with Histon that Ebbsfleet and if Histon can take the lead the game will be over as a contest, Histon also have a big game Saturday so maybe unders could be the best bet in this match as i cant see either side breaking there backs at say 1-0 Histon, 1.66 on a Histon win seems more than generous in this match and im happy to go at it pretty large.
