Premiership - Aston Villa v Tottenham
Spurs have good players but they found it really hard at Sunderland. Especially their defenders are looking they are in no man's land at times. I am sure next year they are gonna be much much better, but for now they just badly need the points to avoid relegation. I think the pacey Villa attackers will 'cause them severe problems and Spurs need to cope with this by scoring goals. However Villa has one of the most solid defenses and one of the best goalkeepers in the EPL; so this won't be an easy one for the away team.
It has been a while since Ab' & Young combined well together. Many are judging the capability of Villa moving up in the League with such a small squad & I won't disagree with that, but when Villa first lineup is available, it is really good. I think it is about time for Villa to show their strength once again. They can hit back & challenge for this lucrative CHL spot as Arsenal doesn't seem in a top condition, probably the Gunners will drop more points in their away games.
When i saw the odds i wanted straight away to go for the home win but I wouldn't like to put more than 4/10, after all we are just betting on the 33% of the pie. Therefore i decided to break my bet into a clean home win at evens (2.00) plus a win with a margin (-1 ah). The idea is that I believe Villa are very likely to be ahead at one point in this game, then Spurs will have nothin' to lose so they will come forward with all of their strength leaving wide open spaces in the back.
I think this is the more efficient way to manage my money (split the risk) & I am really happy with this bet. I feel absolutely no pressure. Of course I don't really believe that Villa are that much better than Spurs (-1ah) but I think it is worth the risk, much better actually than putting all 4 units on the plain Villa win. I am with the home boys on this one (3-1). Good luck!
My bets are:
@ Home at 2.08 from Pinnacle (2/10)
@ Home -1 AH at 2.96 from Bet365 (2/10)
