Tiger's back !!!!!

After 8 months off with a broken leg and major knee surgery, the greatest ever golfer is back in his frst tournament.

The accenture world matchplay is not your usual tournament, as it is one of only very few that is played in matchplay format as opposed to strokeplay. Tiger is still a pretty good player of this type of golf, but in my opinion he is not as bomb proof as he is over the usual methid of play. In this first round match today, he plays Aussie Brendan Jones, who is a decent golfer, but doesn't play the same game as Woods. He is a japanese tour winner, but that pretty much tells you all you need to know about the guy, as the japanese tour isn't the strongest in the world, and falls someway behind the PGA tour in values of money and quality.

Make no bones about it, Jones will be pretty much as nervous as he has ever been in his career when he tees it up this afternoon, and you can bet your bottom dollar the world and his wife will be willing on Woods to do well.

Tiger has also had the birth of his first son (Charlie), and i reckon he is going to very quickly get back into the groove of winning, and although it may not be this tournament, he is pretty good valu eI rekcon at around 11/4 for the Masters.

If you have a spare £4000 I reckon you could do a lot worse than lump on Tiger at 1/4 to win this match, and get a 25% return on your money in little over 4 hours......much better than the banks at the moment !

But the tip is for Tiger to win the first hole this afternoon against Jones, who will surely be just a bag of nerves.
