Premiership - Bolton v Tottenham

Bolton played nice and with spirit against Rovers. They went 0-2 up but eventually succumbed with a draw. Rovers missed a penalty as well plus hit the woodwork twice or so. I think that there is a revival of Wanderers and in front of their fans they always like to take big teams scalps. For sure Bolton is not an easy place to go and win. Spurs are not consistent and find it incredibly hard to come from behind if they are unfortunate enough to concede first.

Defoe might cause problems at the slow Bolton defense but I think he will find it hard to keep a form now that he is playing under lots of competition. In Portsmouth he was the one & only star overshadowing Peter Crouch. Now he has to compete for his place and prove he can perform regularly. Sure Spurs won 3-0 at their last game but against pitilful Stoke.

Bolton seem consistent enough at the moment and they have their fair chance considering that they are playing at home. 40% Home 35% Draw 25% Away for me..If I am not mistaken in the previous estimation we are betting on the 75% of the outcome therefore you can understand y we have ourselves a good bet here. I think the bookies are trying to disguise Spurs here as a strong team with the likes of Utd or Chelsea only because they won convincingly in their last match. Chelsea had a hard time at Reebok, Utd won at the last minute so it should be hard enough for Spurs too..Bolton it is for me.
