A slightly different bet from my normal on in this match but i think the line is at least 1 game in out favour. Who will win the most games handicap. The line is at -5.5 for Kuznetsova i thought it might be at -6.5, Now ok thats only 1 point, But it makes a big difference i think. -5.5 and we can settle for a 6-3 6-3 or 6-2 6-4 and win, -6.5 and realistically we cant afford to drop more than 5 games in the entire match and that looks a little tight.

Kuznetsova isnt without chance overall in the Australian Open, she has a nice draw and is in line to meet Serena Williams in the QF. Kuznetsova was taken to 3 sets in both matches against Peng and Kanepi in Sydney but that could show she is fit both physically and mentally. She withdraw ahead of her QF with a strain, but having come through the 1st round here that injury looks to be behind her. Kuznetsova has a good serve and a powerful return and all round her game is as good as anyones on her day.

Malek is a better player than her ranking suggests but it has slipped after taking 4 months out with injury last year. She won in straight sets in her opening match here against Ayumi Morita to record her 1st even slam victory. Malek doesnt possess the greatest of serves and those who have followed me know i tend to target players with weak 2nd serves, Malek fits that bill. A 2nd serve average speed of just 111khm will be punished heavily by Kusnetsova.

Kuznetsova will win this, you dont need to be an expert to see that but the price is easy to ignore, But -5.5 on the games handicap at 1.83 is more than in range here today.
