This match will probably start long after i have turned in for the night but i do like the look of Sara Errani to win this in straight sets.

Sara Errani has made a nice start to 2009, Good wins in Brisbane over Hantuchova, Pironkova and Govortsova before a defeat against in form Azarenka, Then is Sydney an easy win over Dellacqua before defeat against Serena Williams, She can take heart though in knowing her 2 defeats were against very good players. In her opening match at the Australian Open she opened up with an excellent win over seeded player Maria Kirilenko 6-0 6-4 and the impressive stat is she offered up zero break point chances. It was a great win and should set her up nicely for this match.

Monica Niculescu turned in defeats in both Brisbane and Hobart in her opening matches both going 3 sets though. In her opening match at the Australian Open she won in straight sets 6-4 6-4 over Brit Katie O'Brien, O'Brien helped in her own downfall, with 8 double faults and won just 24% of her 2nd serves, So maybe it wasnt a convincing performance from Niculescu.

Just 12 places seperate these 2 players in the rankings but Errani certainly comes into this match with more confidence, Another solid display and Errani could easily take this 2-0 @ 2.20 with Paddypower and that seems pretty good to me tonight.
