WTA - Czink v Sorana Cirstea

Well it looks like im going to be up for a few hours yet, so i may as well get the other 2 matches i fancy written up, i had a good day yesterday so im in credit, so what the hell.

I must admit, im not a huge fan of Sorana Cirstea as a tennis player, to look at, well thats a different story!!! A ranking of 37th seems strange to me, i certainly dont rate her the 37th best player around at the moment. She was comfortably beaten by Dinara Safina in Sydney a few days ago 6-2 6-1. In the middle of last year with a week or so of each other she was beaten on 2 occasions 6-0 6-0 so is certainly not someone id be happy to be backing, even less so at odds on like she is here across the board in this match.

Melinda Czink has already got 11 sets under her belt this season, winning 9 and losing 2. Wins against Bondarenko (A) and Garbin have been the highlights so far but she also took an opening set off Bartoli too. With a record of 9-2 this season she will come into this match believing she can win it. These players have met just the once and the h2h reads 1-0 to Czink, so it shows she is capable of getting a win.

Cirstea may well be the better player coming into this match but blows hot and cold, a solid performance from Czink and the opening set might just see her surprise the favourite here and im again going for 2-0 at 4.0
