Premiership - Everton v Aston Villa
Everton has not been involved in over 2.5 goals in their last seven games they just went only once above the margin (West Ham-Everton 1-3). But don't let these stats fool you. When the Toffees play big matches they like to give it all and not being cautious like they do with middle table teams or relegation strugglers. Villa have a much similar record being very careful at the back but something tells me this match ain't gonna be judged on the odd goal. The odds are promising (very close to evens) so why stick with the under in a game which smells goals?
After all these are two attacking minded sides having lots of talent from the midfield and up front. I really fancied this bet from the first time I saw it offered at the 'tricky' 2.25 line. Why? Do you think that either of them are going to sit back if they concede? Or do you think Martin O' Neil or David Moyes will be happy with a draw? I think we might see a goal-fest here and I am prepared to lose half of my bet in case of a 1-1 draw. Good luck with your thoughts this weekend!
