FA Cup - Notts County v Kettering

Effectively there is only 14 places between these 2 sides in the league, but when you take into account current form and injury worries, I really can't see why Kettering are as big as they are. County are languishing doen the bottom of league 2 and have just 1 win in 10 in the league, and 1 win at home all season. They have been beaten 8-1 on aggregate in their last 2 games and have several important players out through injury.

Kettering had a great start to life in the BSQ this season, but have stumbled a bit lately, but they can still boast a decent away record in the league and some reasonable results of late, including a 2-1 away win over Lincoln City in the previous round of this great cup competition. It is also interesting to note that Kettering skipper Guy Branston played at County last season, and it always seems to be the case that a former player comes and spoils the party doesn't it ??

I think you have to go with Kettering here as they are the underdog in a cup game playing a side who is not actually that much better than them and they have been awful lately. Kettering will be dreaming of that massive 3rd round tie, and I think they will get it.
