Premiership - Middlesbrough v Newcastle

Boro got stuffed by Wanderers at the Riverside (1-3) on their last game, only to end miserably their 5 games undefeated. Boro was unlucky and they were betrayed by their attacking approach vs Bolton. This said, I realize that Boro are changing a level. Not sitting back and waiting to counterattack like the old times under McLaren, now they are actually trying to create something themselves. Full credit to Gareth Southgate who has created a fighting squad.

They will be different against Newcastle. Downing was tired from the friendly at Germany, Tuncay and Afonso tried but they stumbled across a fantastic Bolton keeper. Newcastle's goalkeeper Given he is class but his team although it has players like Owen, Duff and Martins they somehow manage to let him down.

Boro has managed to get away with a draw from Goodison (1-1), win away to Villa (1-2), home to City (2-0), results which just talk for themselves. Newcastle have been all over the place and the best they can hope out of this one is a draw. This guy Kineear or what the heck he is called is said to be given a month's extension on his contract as head coach of Newcastle. Probably the board still haven't found the man who will replace him..

Pinnacle know all this info that is why they offer a strict -0.5 line with Boro as favorites. Take it or leave it. 10bet always adventurous went for the -0.25 line which I think has good value. Therefore I am gonna take this bet slightly higher than medium stakes always prepared to 'bleed' -3.5 units if this eventually sticks to the draw.
